Geely GeLyte Upgrade Now Available Through OTA Update
GeLyte, a car model by Geely, has been upgraded through an over-the-air (OTA) update for its HT and GT variants. The upgrade includes new features such as built-in dashcam, improved GSD assistence driving capabilities, and enhanced interior applications.
The 2025 GeLyte HT and GT models have recently hit the market, with four and two versions of the HT model respectively being available in the Chinese market. The price range for both models is between 18.99 million to 22.99 million CNY, ranging from 17.39 million to 18.59 million CNY for the GT model.
These upgrades focus on safety, design aesthetic, and interior interaction dimensions. Additionally, GeLyte has introduced new features such as an HOD steering wheel, upgraded front disc brakes with Full-Self Driving systems (FSD), complete set performance card pen, and 19-inch star dynamic wheels across all four models.
The GeLyte HT is positioned in the medium-large SUV segment, equipped with a posterior single-motor power system, delivering maximum output of 250 kw, and maximum torque of 430 Nm. The available battery options are an 83.3 kilowatt-hour phosphoric iron lithium battery pack and a 99.5 kilowatt-hour ternary cathode lithium battery pack. Corresponding to the CLTC mode, distances can be covered from 672 km for both.
The GeLyte GT is positioned as a fully-electric medium-sized SUV, utilizing a posterior single-motor power system with rear-wheel drive configuration.
