Game-Changing Electric Cars Get Top Safety Score from Euro NCAP

Euro NCAP Announces 2025 Safety Ratings for Three Electric Cars

The European New Car Assessment Programme, Euro NCAP, has released its latest safety ratings for three electric cars, with the Geely-branded models leading the pack.

Geely's LEAF7X and Polestar 4 were awarded a full five-star rating, along with a top-3 aggregate score. The Geely-lebranded model took the top spot in Euro NCAP's annual China brand ratings, also tying Toyota's SUVs for the best overall score since 2023.

This year's tests included four essential areas of safety: protecting adult occupants, child occupants and vulnerable road users, as well as safety assistance. All three nominated cars - GE LYFA7X, Polestar 4 and Geely LEAF20 - were part of this testing exercise.

It is worth mentioning that all three cars are part of the Geely family. A fact that makes a lot of sense considering they have held C-NCAP Five Star ratings with high numbers in previous years, especially the first Geely-branded car released in 2009, the Geely Panda.
