Extreme Kia's Anticipated Hunting Car, 007 GT Revealed

极氪 unveil its second Hunting Car variant, the GT (Grand Tour)

Beijing, China - January 8, 2023 - Extreme Gear (極氪), a well-known automotive brand, has unveiled the pre-announcement pictures of its eagerly anticipated second hunt-themed car model, the XG 007 GT. As a derivative model from the existing XG 007, it is expected to be positioned in the mid-range segment.

Based on references made available to us show that the present version can accommodate 14 different configurations. The selling price range spans between RMB 2099 and RMB 2999.

Design Features

Looking at the released pre-announcement pictures of this new model, it was based on XG 007 saloon version using family-style design language. The front half is almost equivalent to the saloon model while retaining classic distinctive lights that are easily recognizable.

The color palette shown in the picture includes a possible version known as cloud gray or smoky gray paired with five radial wheel design, adding an urban touch to this car model. Notably, it has been found equipped with a roof luggage rack, allowing users to install an additional luggage box later on.

One of its standout features is a robust rear-end design that extends back of the B column in order to allow for more space in the trunk compartment and to increase headroom in the second row seats as well.

On top of this model's rear part is found a wind tunnel shield and with integrated side lamps, offering an impression that is both high-tech and individualistic.

Powertrain

Assuming that the XG 007 saloon version features a power architecture of 800V framework coupled to electric motors made by 001FR carbon steel, reference models seem equipped with a motor power of 310kW while there are some variants of four-wheel vehicle versions having maximum peak power of 165kW and 310kW from both front and rear motors. Assuming this has influenced their performances; the performance version can get to run for 0-100km/h in just 2.84 seconds under standard driving conditions, with an additional time of one first foot taken off, leaving a time that’s over 5.4second when taking 0-100km/h.

The latter model also has an exclusive competitive mode combined with its special side acceleration to 0.95Gg, as well as an effective stopping distance reaching up to 34 meters from any speed of 0-100.
