GAC Group Unveils its Latest Midsize Hybrid SUV: GAC A7 EM-i

On June 5, GAC Group officially launched the A7 EM-i, a brand-new midsize hybrid plug-in electric vehicle (EV) with an impressive battery life and sleek design features.

According to pre-release information, the new model boasts an electrical oil consumption of 2L level, achieving over 2100km of comprehensive range power. Additionally, the car is expected to target the 10万元-level SUV market and compete with cars such as BYD QinL.

In terms of exterior design, the A7 EM-i sports a concentric ring pattern across its lighting arrangement, accompanied by two contrasting fin-type headlamps that give it enhanced visibility. Furthermore, its lower sides sport a heightened air intake profile to convey a sense of dynamism. The front overhang gains muscle definition through multi-threaded grilles that lend an air of power to the vehicle. Overall dimensions measure 4918/1905/1495mm with an axle length of 2845mm, firmly positioning itself in the mid-size SUV segment.

Looking at its side profile, the A7 EM-i adopts a well-defined bottom line combined with sleeker tire silhouettes and ornamental black stripes lining around the window. Unlike current trends for hidden door handle designs, this vehicle opts for traditional handle mechanisms enhancing user convenience. Tailor-made with a seamless front-running type exhaust system paired with substantial illumination areas defining unique optical effects on rearview.

When stepping inside, A7 EM-i features an entirely new dashboard. The advanced configuration boasts an exclusive dual-spiral gear rotary multifunction steering unit positioned with superior quality LED ambient lighting across the trim board and prominent buttons alongside.

Within its interior layout configuration will be found a well-arranged system that equips users to operate their vehicle smoothly. Specifically, we see an array of accessories, including multi-function controls, control keysets for air flow rates along with multi-media button sets. This design emphasizes aesthetics at the same time ensuring practicality of use.
