Volkswagen Unveils New Ex30 Cross Country, A Compact SUV with Off-Road Capability

Volkswagen has unveiled a new variant of their EX30 compact SUV, dubbed the Cross Country, which is set to hit the domestic market in 2025. The Cross Country model leverages the existing EX30's design while adding an off-road package that enhances its capability.

Design and Features

The exterior design of the new Ex30 Cross Country has been tweaked with a smoky gray front fascia and added silver accents to the lower front bumper, giving it a more rugged look. Although these changes make it instantly recognizable as a variant of the EX30, many other aspects remain identical to its standard counterpart.

Some notable features include the iconic "Thunder Claw" LED lamp cluster along with the restyled wheels in the same smoke-gray hue, and an upgraded terrain-capable tire design under the larger all-terrain tires. The rear features the distinctive C-shaped + horizontal tail lights, paired with a smoky black treatment and silver trim on the lower section.

On the underside of the car, notable upgrades include the inclusion of improved ground clearance through higher suspension, while a sleek luggage rack on top rounds off its stylish exterior design that proudly embodies the Cross Country lineage.
