Buick GL8 Lada PHEV Introduced to China's Market

A new variant of the Buick GL8 Lada PHEV has been reported on the latest edition of the country's automotive regulatory directory. The vehicle is equipped with a three-electron battery group, unlike the current four models which are equipped with an iron phosphate lithium battery group. The price range for this model is between 35.99-41.99 thousand RMB.

New Design Features

The exterior design is based on the traditional Buick family front grille form, featuring high recognition, a large-size trapezoidal mesh grille inside has a "Cloudy mist" decoration, and LED headlights are also in a traditional wings-like posture. In terms of dimensions, the model's length, width, body height, and wheelbase are 5219mm x 1878mm x 1807mm, and a distance of 3088mm.

Accessories Options

The vehicle is equipped with some optional features including a rear window, door mirror, front guard rail, rear guard plate, rear combination light, no front radar, no lateral radar, camera, rearview mirror, black-framed glass, wheel, anti-fog fog lamp, etc.

Performance Details

The model adopts plug-in hybridization system, with a 1.5T engine combined with it, the maximum power reaches 132kW, and the electric machine has a maximum power of 160kW, and using the Jiangsu Power New Energy's three-metal-lithium battery group.
