Maserati EZ-60 Teased with Official Reveal in April
The latest edition of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's directory has revealed the official images of the Maserati EZ-60, showcasing its upgraded variant, dubbed the Maserati EZ-60 with a powerful 1.5L turbocharged engine.
The upgrade promises a significant boost in power output, with the turbocharger capable of producing up to 70 kW. According to previous statements from the manufacturer, the new model will be unveiled on April 23rd.
Design-wise, the Maserati EZ-60 has inherited the "soul of motion" design concept, which is evident in its unique hiding-style middle grille and integrated headlamps designed with a split body style. A sleek exterior design featuring a prominent, aerodynamic front bumper that accentuates the car's performance-oriented atmosphere rounds out the overall look.
The EZ-60 boasts a longer wheelbase and shorter frontover rear tracks for better driving dynamics. The vehicle features innovative elements such as electronic rearview mirrors, hidden door-handling mechanisms, substantial 19-inch or 21-inch wheels with Michelin tires, giving an enhanced appearance to the vehicle. To cater to diverse taste preferences among consumers, Maserati offers two wheel sizes.
Behind its sleek look, the car has distinct rear-end design featuring the same integrated-style rear lamps design typical of the Maserati 'mototrave' theme. The advanced features include autonomous parking systems with L2-level driver-assistance systems expected to be on par with that of the Mazerati G6.
Under the hood lies a turbocharged 1.5-liter engine capable of producing a maximum output of 190 kW while reaching a top speed of 100 km/h. For further information about this model will continue follow the publication's ongoing coverage.
