IdealS8's Nationwide Testing Kicks Off, Confirming Performance and Endurance Capabilities

A nationwide testing rollout for the idealS8 has commenced, following a successful testing of its disguises. Once the disguise has been taken off, allowing the vehicle to truly showcase its features, IdealS8 engineers are now fine-tuning key aspects such as ride comfort, handling, range and exterior appearance.

Prior to this, IdealS8 embarked on an extensive testing regimen that tested across 300 cities in China for winter and summer durations. The results of these tests exceed 800 million kilometers with a cumulative total. In diverse environments - urban, desert, mountainous terrain and icy landscapes, engineers verified over 4,000 user scenarios, along with no less than 1,200 metrics concerning NVH.

Positioned as an electric SUV in the middle to upper-tier market segment for six seater vehicles, IdealS8 aims primarily at the everyday family needs of travel, anticipating a release in July 2025. With its overall dimensions being comparable and possibly larger than Model X, measurements show the idealS8's dimensions are set up to cross lengths over five meters, with axle distance surpassing three meters.

The official video clip available recently demonstrated how IdealS8 is intended to feature air suspension which provides flexibility in adjusting car height according to road conditions.
