Shanghai Auto Show: Latest Intelligent Cars to Land After Exhibition

The 2025 Shanghai Auto Show has come to a close, marking the end of new car releases for the next while. However, other brands continued with releasing cars recently, such as the updated series' "Intelligent Flawless" version of GM brand's L smart vehicles, which could be seen as a good strategic choice.

Newly launched models at the Shanghai Auto Show include silver river Star Shine 8 and BYD Haiwu 07 Digital Master i, both of which will be fully released in the next window of opportunity. Smart Models Sold At Shanghai Auto Show

In response to customer demand, GM brand's intelligent flawless versions of their L series have officially commenced sales. Both configurations sell at a price comparable to present models, starting from 24.98万元 and going up to 27.98万元. This was announced earlier. On May 8th, all the three versions will enter formal sales with full preparations.

GM's intelligent flawless versions employ larger active radar for enhanced performance. Hardwares and software upgrades have been made to boost overall capabilities of these cars.

Meanwhile, it has been decided that GM brand's smart driving version and advanced assistance system on these new models will still support highway NOA. In terms of power, both have the same engine type as present versions: GM's L2E15M 1.5T gasoline fuel-injected engine.

As compared to their own model variations currently in the market L6 and L7 series' pure electric driving experiences have better values, while pure electric driving can be up to 212km for L6 and around 280km if CLTC is considered on the entire journey of each car. Electric power range would reach approximately 225km as a mid-range value when considering the CLTC standard for either L7 or L8 series at least as well.

BYD Haiwu07 DM-i

Based on the fifth generation technology, intelligent driving and other advanced features available in Baidu's latest technology platforms, including smart driving system called "Digital Master", the newly launched Haiwu 07 Digital Master i is highly popular. For instance, advanced air conditioning technology that provides a comfortable room climate through the seats, plus smart cooling controls that provide great comfort on warm days.
