Beijing Implements 2025 New Energy Passenger Car Indicative Configuration

On May 26, the Beijing Municipal Public Office of Traffic Management and Administration announced the results of the 2025 new energy passenger car indicative configuration. The office also released a list of households that have qualified for this year's household new energy passenger car benchmark scores.

This year, 300 household new energy passenger car benchmark scores was the highest score, while 42 family earned the lowest score. "The score line has dropped by 60% compared to last year," the website noted.

According to the plan, the total number of new energy passenger cars for households this year is 1,18400 vehicles (inclusive of increased households new energy passenger car targets 60000), personal new energy passenger cars 14,600 vehicles, and unit new energy passenger cars 4,000 vehicles.

There were a total of 340,172 household new energy passenger car applications submitted this time, more than the total target. By sorting after scores by family, they could get their households assigned 1,18400 new energy passenger car targets. The remaining submitted household application would follow the ordinary household ordinary passenger car configuration to apply.

There were a total of 532,942 personal new energy passenger car applications submitted this time, more than the target. Their scores would be sorted in order by family, and their households could get assigned 14,600 new energy passenger cars. The remaining submitted household application would follow the normal rule and continue to wait for another round.

There were a total of 41,406 unit new energy passenger car applications submitted this time, more than the target. They would get assigned 4,000 new energy passenger cars.

And this time they could only assign households 1,18400 vehicles that got the best scoring, and personal new energy passenger car of 14,600 vehicles for those who were sorted by score with highest scores.
