Revolutionizing the Future: Breakthrough SiC Carbon Platform Set to Hit Markets by Year-End

Longan SDA Sets Stage for Chinese EV Market Expansion with New C390 Model

Expected Launch in Second Half of 2023, Alongside B216 SUV

Chinese vehicle manufacturer Longan SDA is gearing up to debut its latest model, the C390 midsize sedan, further solidifying its position in the country's burgeoning electric vehicle (EV) market.

As part of its overall strategy to expand its presence, Longan SDA plans to unveil not one but two new car models in the second half of 2023. The other new model anticipated for release is the B216 compact SUV.

The C390 boasts a significant nod to Longan's design philosophy, with its EnJoyed International-designed flagship set up under Klaus Kuester's helm. It seamlessly blends cutting-edge features such as an integrated smart driving assistance system, equipped with laser radar and small blue lights that enhance situational visibility and the safety of the driver.

The front fascia showcases a distinctive ring-like pattern across the headlights and carries the brand logo that emits light. The body sides are characterized by its streamlined appearance with hidden handle buttons aiming at optimizing aerodynamics by further minimizing wind resistance.

Its rear is highlighted by an all-encompassing taillight strip complemented with distinctive central branding, mirroring design cues previously seen on the front end.

What stands out about this vehicle is that it measures in close to five meters in length and a mere three for its axle, categorizing as an midsize car. Longan SDA's vehicle is equipped with a specially designed four-axle suspension system — consisting of both double wishbone plus a five-link unit set up further to optimize steering stability, thus paving the way for excellent ride balance.

Moreover, it boasts an 800V high pressure SiC platform which amplifies its performance, boosts charging speed and offers lower energy consumption compared to previous versions.
