New Era of SUV: Meet Baidi's Leopard 07 and its Game-Changing Tang-Sized Rival

BYD Seal S07 SUV Debut

The BYD Seal S07 SUV has been unveiled to the public, featuring a sleek design and a spacious interior. The car shares a similar size range with its rival, Tang. The exterior design is characterized by a unique "no-middle-bar" scheme, with a single front bumper and two large air intakes.

The headlight unit features an e-type design, with a black honeycomb mesh that adds to the overall aesthetic. Although there are no aftermarket LED lights, sources suggest that higher-end versions will be equipped with laser radar.

When it comes to dimensions, the Seal S07 measures 4880/1920/1750mm, with a wheelbase of 2820mm. The exterior design prioritizes practicality and space usage.

The interior adheres closely to its predecessor's layout but has made some minor adjustments. The steering wheel has been redesigned with a new aesthetic and button layout. The dashboard remains largely unchanged from its older sibling, the Seal X07, but features an increased display size with two large touchscreen controls. There is also massive storage beneath the gearshift.

In terms of powertrain options, the BYD Seal S07 offers a choice between front-wheel drive (FWD) and four-wheel drive (4WD). The 4WD version, named "Sea Lion DM-P," equips its engine with powerful dual motors via an installation of plug-in technology system. DM-P boasts improved acceleration and overall efficiency over newer generations.

The FWD model on the other hand holds single motors system setup, offering more balanced performance compared to its all-wheel-driven counterpart at a fraction of cost.
