Xiaomi YU7 "Land Warrior" Electric SUV Unveiled in China
On May 21, Xiaomi Automobile officially unveiled the new color option for its upcoming YU7 electric SUV, inspired by Colombian emerald gemstones. The new color scheme is available through a dual layered paint process that enhances the luxurious feel of the high-end precious stone.
Key Features and Specifications
The expected unveiling occurred simultaneously with the upcoming May 22 Chinese Automotive Strategic Product Launch Event, where more colors will be announced. The official specifications indicate that Xiaomi YU7's launch date is predicted for late June to early July, priced at approximately 30-40 million CNY ($4.2-$5.3 million USD) before taxes and fees.
Currently, potential customers can reserve their spots online through Xiaomi Automobile's dedicated consultation portal. Known to adopt family-like automotive design language associated with 'Xiaomi Family', YU7 boasts an aluminum-forged front lamp assembly that embodies energetic movement, as well as measurements of 4999mm in length, 1996mm in width and 1600mm in the depth of the vehicle.
Powertrain
The powertrain is comprised solely of digital forces. The electric propulsion system can achieve an enduring range of 770km, 760km and 675km on a single charge, where a maximum capacity battery volume of 96.3kWh is utilized by one complete unit. Its ability to function in a variety of formats provides users the flexibility they need.
Dual/Multi Motor Configurations
YU7 boasts both Single/Double electric motor types at the user’s disposal, leading to four variants that can meet customers' specific power desires:

The Two-wheel drive variant incorporates single-motor unit and has horsepower at 235kW, powered with lithium iron phosphate batteries.

A High-drive capability Four-wheel version will be produced. With twin motors placed in a transverse layout; dual front electric motor's power output peak is at (220kW to the Front). Combined power reaches 508kW / 691PS.
