Renault Unveils Renault 4 E-Tech, a Pure Electric Small SUV for Overseas Markets

The official unveil of Renault 4 E-Tech has revealed sleek and stylish images of the upcoming all-electric compact SUV. The new model is slated to land in overseas markets as early as 2025.

Renault 4 boasts an illustrious history dating back to 1961. However, its return under the eponymous moniker brings a fresh lease on life for the storied brand.

The exterior design sports the introduction of a new Hauts-de-France green paint shade, paying homage to the iconic style of the 1960s. The car is further enhanced by closed windows with applied textures, adding an edgy layer to its appearance.

A unique fusion of traditional and modern elements can be observed in the car's distinctive design cues, including an enclosure around the front grille displaying a series of vertically-oriented LED daytime running lights. The round-shaped headlights on either side are complemented by a centrally placed illuminated version of the Renault logo that imbues the vehicle with a futuristic vibe.

The side profile of the new car accentuates its robustness through raised lines above each door, while its aerodynamic design is accentuated by triangular shapes in various corners and edges. Rearview visibility is further enhanced by an angular rear panel housing three-segmented gel-like LED taillights that create a distinctive, sculptural silhouette.

The size of the car's dimensions stand out: it measures 4.14 meters in length with a wheelbase of 2.62 meters to ensure ease and convenience during travel.

Inside, Renault boasts cutting-edge digital tech at its core – new owners can expect access to a 10-inch two-screen setup, complementing Open R-Link system courtesy of Google's latest tech advancements. With features like advanced mapping software providing detailed recharging pathways, users can effortlessly locate suitable charging points on their travels.

The interior takes pride in a wealth of unique design touches, showcasing an array of visual references as well, and notably to France – its distinctive flag motif has been incorporated into some seating components, providing subtle yet compelling clues to its identity.

Furthermore, behind each passenger seat lies the presence of the company’s virtual journey companion Reno, which may assist users with various logistical matters or even facilitate simple conversations.
