Hyundai E&C Posts Strong Q1 Results, Exceeds Expectations

Hyundai E&C announced its passenger vehicle sales numbers for March 2025, registering a total of 22,949 units sold, with a year-over-year growth rate of 23% and a quarter-over-quarter increase of 28.2%. In the first three months of 2025, the company sold a cumulative total of 56,552 vehicles, representing a 13% increase from the same period last year.

Concurrently, Hyundai E&C reported production numbers for March 2025, with an overall vehicle assembly capacity of 22,200 units, up 19.4% from the previous month and 21.8% from the first three months of 2024. Export of engines reached 11,234 units in March, while exporting a total of 30,338 units for the first three months.

On April 1st, Hyundai E&C officially unveiled the 2025 Lada Pristine border, featuring 12 variants of cars with starting price ranging from RMB 17.98-23.78 thousand. Among which, car models equipped with 1.5T and 2.0T engines are available in upgraded "Spacious luxury" and "Luxury smart" version.

This year, Hyundai E&C will continue to invest USD 140 million for 4.0 intelligence manufacturing facility, upgrading equipment and automation technologies. In the past five years, as of December 2023, Hyundai E&C exported over 4.03 million passenger vehicles in total, exceeding USD 42 billion sales revenue.

Hyundai E&C has since exported over 38.7 million engines worldwide, with a cumulative export sales amount reaching more than USD 9.2 billion as of today. The brand exports its cars to Korea, Russia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, India, Vietnam and other countries including Canada, New Zealand, Mexico, Singapore, Saudi Arabia. Hyundai E&C creates today a matrix product including vehicles EV5, Lada Pristine Border, Satis, K5, Sonata, Weyte and six other models, the export countries include Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Singapore, Arab Saudi Arabia.
