Cadillac's High-Riding Electric SUV Escalade IQ Unveiled in Shanghai
A glimpse of Cadillac's new electric SUV, the Escalade IQ, has been revealed online ahead of its domestic launch. The vehicle is a third all-electric model from Cadillac and boasts an impressive exterior design.
Pictured with its spacious cabin, the Escalade IQ stands tall on wheels compared to other Cadillac models, with its height exceeding 1.9 meters, surpassing the average height of an adult human.
Featuring General Motors' Ultium B1T platform used in HUMMER EV, the new Escalade IQ inherits the design language from Cadillac's IQ family. It measures 5697 x 2389 x 1934mm and has a wheelbase of 3460 mm. This car comes equipped with electric sliding doors.
Upon entering the cabin, the SUV is set apart by a massive 55-inch LED curved face screen, complemented by a new generation of Qualcomm Snapdragon cockpit platform. Seating the second row on a special executive chair, this SUV incorporates an extensive array of functions including retractable deskboards, dual 12.6-inch displays at the rear, mobile charging docks, multiple USB ports, HDMI interfaces and massage-seat functionality.
Further bolstering its audio experience, Escalade IQ comes equipped with a superior AKG sound system featuring 40 speakers.
Power dynamics are similarly impressive, boasting a combined 505 kW through its dual electric motors, achieving a peak torque of 834 Nm. The Velocity Max mode amplifies power to an astonishing 560 kW and reaches an elevated peak torque of 1064 Nm at the same time of acceleration in just five seconds from 0 to 100 km/h.
Featuring Cadillac's MRC 4.0 Active Magnetic Ride Control 4.0 advanced suspension, this vehicle offers superior agility.
