Hong Kong Auto Expo 2025: Longan Automobile to Showcase Four Autonomous Electric Vehicle Brands

The Hong Kong Auto Expo 2025 officially kicked off on June 12, with Longan Automobile bringing its three digital electric vehicle brands, including Avita, Deep Blue, and Longan, to showcase their latest models at the event. Available vehicles include various Deep Blue S05 and Avita 11 derivatives.

Avita 11

Taking center stage was the Avita 11, a fully digital electric SUV that made its market debut in Hong Kong just months ago. Priced around HK $51.38 million (approximately HK $47 million) for local customers, this vehicle features a modern exterior with a simplified design front fascia, two body-type daytime running lights framing the overall shape of the car's face, LED fog lights situated below the front fenders, and an ambient screen on its grille displaying a bright blue glow. The clean lines of the Avita 11 are emphasized by strong shoulders defined by large wheels with thick tires.

Inside, an upscale Avita 11 will feature a space-conscious interior design by Longan automobile company with unique LED ring ambient lighting for overall visual interest. New arrivals to this year’s version will be available in seven standard color schemes, as well as four alternative interior colors; these give users wide range of styling options without much extra cost. On board features include: A 256-color display screen that's configurable via touchscreen controls, intelligent ambient air purification system, biometric recognition authentication function and support to multiple music streaming interfaces.

The base Avita 11 will feature Huawei's KQN智驾ADS3 intelligent navigation system, utilizing advanced sensors for its sophisticated three-sensor solution. The intelligent driving software is designed based on the vehicle-to-vehicle interface system - meaning it can be synchronized with smartphones through an open app interface. While making parking easier than at a traditional garage, Avita 11 will also make life simpler even when parked and unpowered.

A Longan automobile’s electric unit was powered by a 1.5-liter engine producing a maximum of 115 horsepower but paired to an e-motor of nearly twice that capacity in combined mode, producing peak torque at a mere couple of milliseconds as measured after passing 45 kilometres per hour.

Deep Blue S05

The Deep Blue S05 also returned to the exhibit this year with its two most popular trim levels available. Design features seen on this model are more functional and utilitarian in style compared to its newer sibling, the Avita11 or another, Longan automobile’s latest generation.

For the new version's exterior design it featured an enclosure-fronted headlight system paired to the Deep Blue’s trademark two body-type daytime running lights. Other key styling features of this car will also include a more horizontal frontal grille in particular. Underneath its front end a three-part air intake is positioned for better airflow and a distinctive aerodynamic spoiler located at rear has been added.

On the inside, this S05 model is fully equipped to suit younger buyers’ expectations with a vibrant design and many additional features such as ambient LED screen on dashboard (standard display with two colour schemes), 7-inch touchscreen navigation system coupled to a smartphone app interface which integrates vehicle-to-infotainment platform integration. This makes it quite advanced compared to the average car of recent vintage.
