Get Ready for Game-Changing E-Ola, Electric Revolution Arrives in June

GWM Officially Announces 2025 Ora Good Cat Electric Vehicle Lineup

Date: June 27, 2023

The Chinese automaker GWM has announced that its new electric vehicle lineup, the Ora Good Cat, will be officially launched on June 27, 2023. The lineup includes two variants: the Ora Good Cat and the Ora Good Cat GT Woodlane Edition.

Design and Features

Compared to its predecessors, the 2025 Ora Good Cat has a more aggressive design language, with notable changes in the front fascia, where the grille and bumper have been redesigned. The iconic LED headlights remain as the car's most distinctive feature. In terms of dimensions, the vehicle retains its length, width, and height from the previous model, but its axle length remains largely unchanged.

The exterior color palette has expanded to include new shades such as "Pointe Blue" and "Ocean Azure", with a price difference of 1,000 yuan for dual-color body paint options. However, only one color option is available for the GT Woodlane Edition variant.

Inside, the new Ora Good Cat boasts an updated interior design. Notably, it features a new steering wheel design that prioritizes simplicity and minimalism. Additionally, the instrument cluster has been replaced by two independent screens: one for the main display and another for the center screen.

The 2025 Ora Good Cat offers various smartphone integration options and advanced safety features like voice-controlled interface, image recognition of speech, and more. Among its configurations, some trim levels will enjoy ORA-Pilot driving assistance functions at a top-end trim level that enables L2-grade driving assist functions but eliminate three cameras. Moreover, there are also fewer rear-seat sensors and integrated instruments available on lower trims, which include rear parking sensors and blind spot detection.

Powertrain

The 2025 Ora Good Cat comes equipped with an electric motor, delivering maximum power of 105 kW. The single unit powers a 45.9 kWh lithium-ion battery that guarantees CLTC ranges of up to 401 km or as low as 430 km in higher trims.

Similarly, the GT Woodlane Edition variant features the same specifications across its board configurations but lacks long-range capabilities and lower-powered variant due mainly on reduced weight.

Overall design highlights emphasize aggressive front fascia while removing circular shapes elsewhere, allowing both models offer strong features alongside a minimalistic appearance that would attract buyers seeking practicality with low pricing.
