Extreme E 007GT officially unveiled on April 15, 2023

The most anticipated car of the season, the Extreme E 007GT, is finally here. As a high-performance variant of the 007 model, this new car has been designed to embody "techno-knight", while its sibling, the 001, takes on the role of the luxurious "豪华猎装". The technical data indicates that the 800V platform has been adopted for production, and all models come equipped with a laser radar.

With regards to the pricing aspect, enthusiasts can expect prices ranging between 20.99 and 29.99 yuan per unit. In relation to its performance level, the base model features capabilities of up to 310kW when running as a rear-wheel drive vehicle in single-electric mode.

The design of this car retains the distinctive STARGATE Smart Vision Headlights from the original 007 model, but it comes equipped with increased intake apertures on the body. As well, its upper air dam has been made even more pronounced to give it an even more dramatic appearance.

Furthermore, in terms of aerodynamics and overall style, this new car features the use of a sleek LED light strip that provides optimal lighting functionality for nighttime driving. Upon completion of full testing, Extreme E plans to integrate another cutting-edge feature into its design: the advanced "Hao Sheng" driver-assist system. A 2.0T turbo engine is used as the powerplant.

The body work, side profile of car has become sleeker through adopting wider wheels. Meanwhile head rest remains wide and stable on C pillars, creating dynamic sense upon view. Overall dimensions came out as a slightly longer wheelbase 2925mm. Rear air dam has been made wider with dual peak-style vents for improved performance; whilst the smaller rear diffuser is painted in black – representing that it can be tailored according to different models' preferences.

Another unique feature of the car has come from its aerodynamic design, characterized by the presence of side-wing panels and increased front wheel arches which will further amplify an aggressive stance.

Inside, this 007GT model boasts sleek, modern interior style with a large instrument cluster that includes digital gauges for overall improved functionality. The car features advanced driver aids as well as ambient lighting systems for better driving at night. The exterior has also been augmented by new details such as larger trunk open up space; integrated charging plug; power tailgate; head rest mounted LED rear lights and LED turn signals.

As for performance, there is a large boost in production capacity resulting from the 800V power module installation. With respect to efficiency, the car offers a range of battery capacities and a top speed close off electric motor performance figures ranging between 585km, 650km and up to an astonishing 825km on that particular unit alone.

In addition to other high-performance features and capabilities mentioned earlier, one significant advantage of Extreme E’s product line is the ability to upgrade from smaller batteries like 75kWh up to larger models such as those at 100kWh capacity.
