New Cars Arriving in China from July 7-13: A Week of Exciting Updates

A week of new cars is expected to hit the Chinese market, with over a decade worth of vehicles set to arrive. The top-of-the-line models include Geely's Wind Cloud A9L, a new Zero Forza C11, Lynk & Co's Free Plus and Ljoy 90, Hyundai's Ioniq 6 N, GAC's ninth-generation Imperia and the fourth-generation Emperor priced at over ¥40 million.

The Chery Wind Cloud A9L has already begun sales in China, with four variants available. The electric variant offers CLTC pure electric range of up to 230 kilometers, while the other three models boast hybrid powertrains. The Wind Cloud A9L measures 5.018m in length, 1.965m in width and 1.500m in height, while its wheelbase is set at 3,000mm.

Underneath its powerful engine lies a ZPower C-DM 6.0 motor with two drive types, including an all-wheel-drive variant. This four-engine model produces up to 275kW from its single electric motor and achieves peak torque of 530N·m. A hybrid model will also be available for the Wind Cloud series.

Another new arrival in the market is Leesi's L90 large SUV built on a modified version of Didi Chuxing vehicle, adopting its NT3.0 platform, featuring extended features on this mid-size S-Class to give users high luxury experience, including six seats and an spacious front boot. It has been officially announced that Didi provides the powertrain system, and features 85 kilowatt battery. With respect to their drivetrain, it is available with both single-motor drive type after driving, plus four-wheel drive option.

The upcoming Zero Forza C11 model recently went on sale. This time around, two variants are now set up for pre-order. The pure-electric version boasts an asking price starting from 165,800 yuan and has electric motors boosted by 220 kW at peak torque output. In a middle-stage update, zero Forza C11 brings along slight aesthetic updates combined with new interior upgrade.
