GAC's New A7 Model Set to Enter Pre-Sales on July 11th
A new generation of plug-in hybrid vehicles is set for launch in China, with the GAC A7 model expected to enter pre-sales on July 11th.
Underpinned by GAC's new energy platform architecture, the first-generation A7 is designed as a first-mover in the plug-in diesel hybrid segment. It will debut with the REHaberAI e diesel motor and the advanced Silver Flyme Auto infotainment system, combining to deliver unparalleled efficiency and advanced features.
With an electric range of 150km, using just 2.67 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers under CLTC test conditions, GAC A7 promises long-lasting endurance.
The exterior design builds upon family-oriented language while presenting a stronger tech-focused sense and future vision. The front end has been enhanced through closed grille styling combined with straight LED strip light bar and dual-lateral headlamps creating distinctive "Star Circle" style for its visual width to extend the car's field of view.
There will be six available options for the new A7 model - black jade, glacial white, snow-blue steel, cloud silver gray, grey smoke and starry gray.
For those interested in purchasing this auto, note that dimensions are 4918mm wide & long by 1905 / 1495mm high, total wheelbase of 2845mm.
Silver Flyme Auto's advanced center console with both an LCD screen (measuring 15.4 inches) and a side dial will guide you through car navigation seamlessly via digital visual interface.
The interior offers extensive use of soft-quality materials such as fabric wrap / woven wood decorations - adding touches to emphasize unique design. GAC NOS software supports voice-assisted interaction like four levels, see-speak interact functions as well as smart mobile connectivity system.
With the new and improved engine that has a significant effect from EMi hybrid technology integration, the vehicle is set to provide remarkable performance in terms of power & acceleration.
0-100km/g accelerates within a mere 4.7 seconds when all-electric power mode is activated while still maintaining respectable efficiency under electric usage.
Full-fledged test run throughs at CLTC condition and we are pleased with the fact that its electricity consumption in full gasoline range has reduced to an astonishing 2.67 liters per 100 kilometers with well-provided hybrid functionality – total endurance as a result, far exceed traditional diesel vehicles.
