Volvo Launches EX30 Cross Country SUV for July 17th Release
On July 8th, Volvo recently announced that the highly anticipated EX30 Cross Country will be hitting the markets on July 17th. The new model is positioned as a smaller SUV variant of the popular EX30, targeting those seeking an off-road adventure.
Design and Features
Looking at official images released earlier, the latest addition boasts a bold family-inspired design with numerous upgrades in detail. This includes features such as an enclosed front grille coupled with embossed black trim panels, enhancing overall recognition by adding visual appeal. The dimensions of this new model come out to be 4233/1850/1573mm across length, width, and height respectively, with a ground clearance of 2650mm.
The side view reveals the integration of sleek black side skirts at front and rear bumper levels, complemented by striking five-spoke wheels. Furthermore, an upward adjustment has been made to the baseplate of this new model compared to its standard counterpart, contributing positively to its ability to traverse various surfaces. It is noteworthy that the suspension system of this vehicle has seen advancements in terms of spring stiffness as well as damper resistance, tailored especially to accommodate unforgiving off-road terrain.
The rear features a distinctive C-shaped plus vertical tail lights design with blackened center sections - offering an unmistakable rugged charm. What was also observed on renderings is the addition of camping equipment for the top of the vehicle such as canopies and poles. According to preliminary submissions, this new model will be powered by a dual-motor four-wheel drive system where front and rear motors hold maximum power values of 115kW and 200kW, respectively; paired with three-leaf electric batteries. The release schedule for specific specifications is pending further updates from the manufacturer.
