Xiaomi Yu7: Unveiling the Fastest 3G Variants with a Price Tag of $25,350 to $32,990
The latest information on the Xiaomi Yu7 has been shared by the official app on June 28th. According to this update, the three variants - Entree, Pro, and Max - have different delivery times after pre-order lock-in.
The most speedy delivery time for the base model is between 53 and 56 weeks as lock-up occurs. The top-end Pro variant will get a delivery time of only 48-51 weeks, followed by the high-performance sportsMax at 33-36 weeks. Another notable aspect highlighted here is that the pre-sales of Xiaomi Yu7 surged in just 18 hours to reach an astonishing number of 240,000 orders across the world.
This impressive milestone demonstrates that demand is sky-high for this new product launch. The estimated prices of these cars range from $25.35 million to $32.99 million. With a deposit of $5,000, customers can take advantage of various benefits and promotions by July 31st. If they order the high-grade version at this time, it will be upgraded to 66000 yuan limited-time benefit.
In terms of design aspects, the front fascia stands out with its water drop-style taillights which has already earned a lot of recognition. The inner lights have received significant upgrades from previous SU7 cars and provide an excellent driving experience overall. Moving on to interior and display features, Xiaomi Yu7 is equipped with two screens displaying 1.1 meters wide and incorporating the "Hyper Vision" concept for superior image output.
The car has obtained a double ring surround design where there is an emphasis on comfort. Its advanced screen offers incredible clarity along with a projection system providing high-contrast visual views of the display and a wider angle vision compared to earlier systems.
One thing must be appreciated here: SU7 Max version which had been initially released only as SU7 Ultra has now pre-sold customers offered certain upgrade benefits until 6th June. A special promo is also made available for existing SU7 already booked buyers within these timeframes and more details will follow in the coming days.
Xiaomi YU7, with multiple advanced features at its disposal, includes:
- Two front LED headlights.
- Dual LED lights placed at the rear to give it sharp vision & movement sense
- Front and Rear Dual air dams to reduce wind resistances while entering into a turn.
- High-performance electronic stability management, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warning.
- High level of safety features.
The main driving system now is paired with an NVIDIA chip. With that said, it uses the HAD 4.0 system, also called Xiaomi MTD for advanced vehicle to vehicle assistance systems and provides a higher degree of precision in following cars as well as traffic.
For additional stability support, a set of 11 high-definition cameras & an array of ultra-sonic sensors at both ends will be providing information necessary for collision avoidance during travel with less risk. Alongside this the car also includes dynamic brake control systems including electronic parking braking, automatic clutch disengagement and semi-automatic gear shifting as some essential aids to provide further safety.
In terms of powertrain, the YU7 includes two types: A single motor version (235kW V6S plus) and a dual-engine variant as well. These both variants are paired with the X800V carbonized silicon battery platform for efficient performance at lower costs in addition some assistance features from advanced models and electrically assisted brakes, etc.
When compared against regular SU7 Pro & Max variants that use high-grade materials which can still provide smoother dynamics than standard models available at other brands they look relatively modest. However with better engine efficiency thanks to more recent battery technologies, the overall performance of this car is more substantial once again when looking at speed-to-weight ratio comparison as well.
It's worth noting that these advanced driving tech benefits are provided by AI-driven systems in order to help automate aspects that can potentially improve safety on roads like lane changing and collision warnings. With NVIDIA chip power assist these features could work effectively even without drivers having manual input - giving a sense of being "self-driving" at times, although true Autopilot isn't possible due various road hazards but still they're quite helpful while driving.
Ultimately everything together paints an image that this new car does have incredible specs and cutting-edge tools for improved safety however more precise specifications require confirmation from the manufacturers.
