BMW Announces Integration with DeepSeek AI Platform in China

BMW China has officially announced its integration with the DeepSeek artificial intelligence (AI) platform. Starting this autumn, select popular models from the BMW 5 Series Long Wheelbase and BMW i5, as well as BMW X3 Long Wheelbase, will be among the first vehicles to implement the ninth-generation (BMW) operating system, leveraging DeepSeek's advanced thinking capabilities.

Looking ahead, future iterations of the DeepSeek AI platform are planned to be applied not only to Chinese-market BMW models but also across domestic brands new generation of vehicles.

According to Zipper Strategy, chairman of BMW Group, "We are amplifying partnerships with top-tier Chinese technology companies to further elevate A.I. capabilities in China.
