MG 2026款MG5和2026款MG Cyberster正式上市

Shanghai, China - June 30, 2024 - Chinese automaker MG has officially launched its 2026 model year lineup, introducing four trim levels for the MG 5 and a single model for the MG Cyberster.

The MG 5 is positioned as a compact car, while the MG Cyberster is designed as a sports car. The new models are largely configuration-focused, with updates aimed at enhancing their appeal to younger buyers.

The 2026 MG 5 features an updated exterior design, with two new color options:气泡橙 and 安第斯灰 (Bubble Orange and Andes Gray). The car's proportions have been refined, with a longer wheelbase and wider track. The LED headlights feature a unique triple-slit design, while the fog lights are more aggressive.

The new model retains the "猎瞳" (Target) design language that has become synonymous with MG. In terms of interior design, the latest iteration features an updated trim level for better durability, complete with a range of 256 color options and ambient lighting effects. The MG 5 also offers advanced infotainment capabilities, including dual screens, wireless charging and audio entertainment.

Behind the wheel, the new MG 5 boasts powerful performance options from its 1.5L and 1.5T engines, delivering outputs of up to 129 horsepower and 285Nm or 181 horsepower and 258Nm respectively. The driving experience is further enhanced by features like steering wheels, front seat bolstering, etc.
