Bai Jiadu's Mawei Electric Vehicle Arrives in Europe, Offering Three Model Options for Launch

Bai Jiadu has officially launched its Mawei electric vehicle in 15 European countries including Italy, France, Germany, Spain, Hungary, Poland, and Switzerland. The three model options are available in the market, priced between €1,990 and €2,600, which is equivalent to approximately ¥16,220-¥21,190.

The first batch of vehicles will commence delivery to pre-booked customers starting from June this year. This marks a significant milestone for Bai Jiadu as it enters Europe with its eighth pure electric vehicle model in the past three years.

Compared to domestic versions, the European version of Mawei has been extended by 210mm in length and 5mm in width. However,the overall length width high respectively unchanged at 2500mm. The interior features a 10.1-inch rotating screen that supports 4G networks as well as Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone connected, equipped with L2-level driving assistance functions such as adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assistants and adjustable headlamps.

In terms of powertrain,the new vehicle will be available in three different configurations:Entry level model features a 65 kW electric motor paired with 30 kmWh lithium battery pack for an WLTP pure electricity range of up to 220 kilometers;Mid-range model comes equipped with the same electric motor as high-end variants yet has 43.2kmWh batteries,WLTP pure Electricity Range 322 km ; The top end models boast a 115 kW electric motor paired with the same battery packs WLTP pure-electric driving distance up to 310 km
