Chinese Automaker Ideal releases Sales Figures for 2025's 8th Week, Showing Stable Growth in Winter Period
Chinese car manufacturer Ideal Automobile released its sales data for the 8th week of 2025, from February 17 to 23. The top three brands on the leaderboard are Great Wall, Perfect Road and Xiaomi, with their respective vehicle sales at 0.88,000, 0.77,000, and 0.64,000 units.
Among these brands, Great Wall holds a first place in terms of sales momentum last week versus spring festival season, with consistent sales growth during the winter period. Specifically, new energy car Xceed's sales are notable at 0.38,000 units.
In contrast, the top luxury brands - BMW, Mercedes-Benz and Audi - remained consistent in their positions on the leaderboard, occupying the top four spots respectively. The Ideal brand took fourth position with a relatively stable growth rate of compared to the top three brands, while Tesla landed fifth position at only one unit behind.
Interestingly, new energy car brand BYD has taken the first place with 5.91,000 vehicles sold in less than five weeks despite a slight increase from the previous week's sales figures. This demonstrates that their strategy of releasing news products during the Chinese New Year holiday is effective.
Furthermore, second-place Five Stars sold 1.61 units and third-positioned Chery Motors brought home 1.10 units of units sold last week. Generally speaking, all brands have shown a certain degree of growth with only a small upward trend in total sales figures observed among the Chinese automobile market.
