GWM Ora Good Cat 2025 Launched With Pre-Sales for Three Trim Levels

Newer Model Features Upgraded Front Face and Interior Experience, with a Focus on Smart Technology

The Guangxi Moli (GWM) Ora Good Cat has marked its return to the market with pre-sales for the 2025 model, offering three trim levels. The base price ranges from 898,000 yuan to 10,980 yuan, while the high-end GT Woodland version costs between 10,280 yuan and 11,280 yuan.

The exterior of the vehicle features a refreshed front section, including two new inlets and larger bumper size for aerodynamics. Additionally, the interior boasts significant upgrades, with emphasis placed on smart technology enhancements, as seen on its predecessor, with prices ranging from 105,800 yuan to 133,800 yuan.

Upon closer inspection, the Good Cat has adopted an adorable "smile" through upgraded front headlights and LED light arrangements, creating a distinctive appearance. It maintains its circular large lamps, utilizing 40 high-intensity LED lights that can illuminate objects over 104 meters away.

This updated model is not only visually appealing but also available in four different dual-toned color options: Azure Green, Sky Blue, Pink Coral, Tawny Brown, and Celestial White, among others. The rear of the car follows suit with two new LED light combinations with reduced lettering to better resemble a logo from parent company Long Cheng.

Compared to its predecessor's 14-inch instrument panel, this model boasts an improved 14.6-inch floating screen display that integrates cutting-edge features like virtual displays and remote control functionality for HiCar and CarPlay applications, allowing drivers to access apps remotely through a smartphone connection. The Good Cat's interior also includes a wider array of stylish stitching work, such as car seat design elements and luxurious dashboard wraps available in multiple styles and colors to match.

Further adding convenience are mobile wireless charging pads at the headrest area and an integrated USB-A slot for more storage space.

Inside this vehicle is where things get interesting with modes catering specifically to user preferences. Drivers can navigate from a selection of eight options: 8 Relax Mode, 9 Kitty Mode, Camping Mode, Warrior Mode, Vertical Parking Mode, Horizontal Parking Mode, Sideways Parking Mode, and also Auto-parking. Even beyond these specific models, drivers enjoy a 30-second automated parking system that includes vertical, horizontal, sideways parking spots.

The new Ora Good Cat's driving power comes primarily from one electric motor. It delivers varying outputs depending on the version but remains high-performance with capacities of up to 135 kW with phosphorus iron Lithium batteries providing maximum range of around 401 kilometers and an impressive average running distance of 430 kilometers during long-distance travel.

Competitive Analysis

The Ora Good Cat faces opposition from competitors like BYD's Diving Horse, offering a comprehensive lineup of features similar to these trim options. With a solid display on its updated model offerings, particularly in the realm of interior design and driving range, the question now is how well can it compete.

Editorial Insights

With GWM revitalizing the Ora Good Cat model by embracing smart technologies throughout its design experience, the overall quality of vehicle design is enhanced. Enhanced aesthetics, coupled with refined power features provide ample reason for car owners to look further into buying options in this sector.
