Hong Kong Car Expo 2025: Meet the All-New Pure Electric Compact SUV - Polestar G7 Unveiled

Small Panda's New Electric SUV G7 Makes Debut at 2025 Hong Kong Auto Show

The newly introduced electric SUV, Small Panda G7, from the company's subsidiary under the brand name has made its global debut at this year's Hong Kong Auto Show. The vehicle is set to officially go on sale starting today, June 11th.

According to Small Panda Automobile's chairman, He Xiaoping, the G7 model positions itself as a flagship in terms of intelligence and interior space. New technologies will be applied across various aspects of the car, aiming for official release and distribution during its third quarter of this year.

The exterior design features the same distinctive language used by Small Panda P7+, including separate headlamps positioned over circular LED strip lights running upwards, a comprehensive system integrating near- and far-distance lights into one conduit. Furthermore, large round wind deflectors covering up the headlights further emphasize the vehicle's dynamic attitude. Additionally, colors are now available as Starry Grey, Lunar Silver, Nebula White, Night Black, Cloudy Beige, and Interstellar Green — all 6 to choose from.

The side view reveals concealed door handles paired with a brand-new design for wheel arches imbued with grace and finesse.

Backside-wise, an elegant tiered structure sets up the rear lamps presenting another layer of visual hierarchy. In terms of size, dimensions result in a car as follows: 4892/1925/1655mm in length, width, and height respectively, coupled with an axle length of 2890mm.

In regard to interior decorations, this vehicle will apply ring-style design principles and combine soft plastic materials with wooden trim and silver metal accents. Color options come with secret blue, orange glow, atmosphere grey, darkness black, cloud beige, as well as nebula green — a total of four possible color schemes for clients' preferences.

The configuration section includes various advanced technologies: such as 15.6-inch screen monitor, double windscreen charging, rear seat entertainment system featuring eight and twenty audio-visual units, an ambiance that reflects a world full of infinite colors in the passenger car, with optional features including ambient full-pitch reflection for all areas, with 256 color displays offering complete visual comfort.

An interesting feature is its inclusion of built-in AI image recognition technology by Small Panda Auto. In addition to being equipped with advanced driver assistance system that takes the picture as its basis and supports various technologies like image fusion in traffic navigation, as well as supporting a wider range of traffic data, it holds the promise, further enhancing driving support. Furthermore, it will be paired up with 11 ultra cameras + three millimeter radar technology.

Finally, this vehicle uses an all-electric single-motor configuration for propulsion power with max power reaching 218kW, able to reach a high-speed 202km per hour at electric only, along with batteries equipped as phosphate iron-lithium battery sets designed by the company.
