Long Hong Sword Hi4-T Performance Version and Global Version Unveiled
China's electric vehicle market has seen a surge in new models, with the latest being the Long Hong Sword Hi4-T series. The Long Hong Sword Hi4-T performance version and global version have been officially launched, marking a significant milestone in the brand's journey.
The long-haul SUV is equipped with a 2.0T engine paired with a 9-speed automated transmission and P2 front-axle electric motor combination, forming an all-plug hybrid power system. The NEDC pure electric range of this vehicle is up to 115 kilometers.
Long Hong Sword Hi4-T Performance Version
Exterior-wise, the Long Hong Sword Hi4-T performance version takes on a more off-road-oriented design, featuring a front axle equipped with a distinctive front hood and rear-view window that boasts an increased viewing angle. Two red tow hooks have also been added to assist in escaping stranded situations.
Inside, similar to its flagship sibling, this new model maintains the same layout as before. It comes equipped with an LCD dashboard and a larger center screen, offering various convenient access keys that simplify overall driving experience.
The side-by-side seat positions feature reinforced support while ensuring comfort during extended off-road drives. The all-terrain tire mounted in these models helps to boost agility on uncharted ground by increasing clearance capabilities compared to earlier variants.
Furthermore, the Long Hong Sword Hi4-T comes with a wide array of options including multi-ride height suspension and front-wheel or four-wheel-drive systems, depending on user preference.
Long Hong Sword Hi4-T Global Version
Repositioned to target global markets, this updated edition has lost its watertight design, while retaining more off-road settings. Although less robust, it is well-equipped for short jaunts into waterlogged terrain thanks to the high-ride ground clearance that comes with full-size spade-style tires.
The exterior of this model displays a slightly darker and muddier appearance with black accents applied to front and rear fascias. These visually sleek designs enhance on-road driving performance through increased aerodynamic efficiency.
Similar characteristics are observed in both versions when dealing with interior equipment, however there have been some changes between these two models, although minor.
Both SUV variants achieve speeds of up to 100km/h within just seven seconds under the combined power generated by their respective motors. Each car packs an integrated lithium-ion battery that provides a maximum driving range of over one thousand kilometers using NEDC and is capable of recharging at approximately four-tenths the charge life in as little as twenty-four minutes when supplied with up to fifty kilowatts.
Moreover, each version possesses multiple control options for traversing through off-road terrain.
