New Zero-Rapid C10 Electric Vehicle to Hit the Market on May 15th
The Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer, Zero-Rapid, has confirmed that its new C10 model will be available for purchase starting May 15th. Initially announced as a pre-sale in April, the vehicle is now open to public booking. Those who book ahead of time will also have access to exclusive benefits, including a discount of up to RMB 19680.
The 2026 model features notable upgrades across various aspects, including range, handling, and technology.
Range and Charging
The all-electric version of the C10 comes equipped with a larger battery pack measuring 74.9 kWh, resulting in improved CLTC (Chinese Laboratory Testing Cycle) distance, now reaching up to 605 kilometers. Thanks to its enhanced fast charging feature based on the 800V high-pressure system, users can see an accelerated SOC level from 30-80% recharge to just 16 minutes.
Similar upgrades have been made to non-electric models with CLTC ranges capped at a total of 210 kilometers and a charge of 14.1 kWh per 100 kilometers (all-electric).
Performance
The electric version boasts improved performance numbers, including:
- Maximum Motor Power: Increased from 170 horsepower to 220 horsepower
- Acceleration Time: Reduced from 8 seconds to 5.9 seconds for the all-electric version
The upgraded chip, 骁龙8295, not only enhances its overall processing but also introduces new features like the latest real-time perception technology and a user-friendly 3D interface. 骁龙8650 will take on the role of improved AI assistant supporting advanced driver-assistance systems.
Design Upgrades
Key exterior design elements remain consistent with previous models, including introducing "曦露紫" (Lilac Azure) to the palette options. Key design updates include new interior features like wireless charging and faster mobile charging options at 50W, in partnership with improved electronic door handles that can be concealed.
Other noticeable upgrades involve fresh front seats featuring advanced 双缝线 threading.
