New MG4 EV Electric Car Unveiled: A Breakthrough in the MG Brand's New Energy Strategy
The official images of the MG 4 EV have been revealed, marking a significant milestone in the brand's new energy strategy. The compact sedan is set to be launched on August 5, with a planned launch date just before September 5, pending regulatory approvals.
Designed to cater to the growing demand for electric vehicles, the MG 4 EV boasts a sleek exterior design, featuring a closed rear grille and the same independent front headlamps as the MG Cyberster. This blend of style and functionality is further bolstered by the introduction of segmented air vents beneath the grille and dual exhaust pipes on the sides.
The color palette sees the addition of a unique "Dongliu Purple" hue, which combines metallic and pearl finishes for an aesthetically pleasing effect.
When it comes to its side profile, the MG 4 EV showcases smooth contours and a short front/rear suspension setup that enhances its overall dynamics. The introduction of double-piston spokes also adds to its sporty demeanor. At the rear, the MG 4 EV integrates a horizontal taillight with a prominent diffuser panel.
As confirmed by the manufacturer, the MG 4 EV will ride in partnership with the OPPO's InControl Intelligent System, offering users access to voice-controlled, app-based, and hands-free driving experiences across various connectivity options. These include advanced smartphone-vehicle integration, navigation through motion, smart parking apps, seamless voice commands through mobile devices, an eco-friendly entry system, and AI intelligent assistance.
