Revolutionizing Fast Charging and Thermal Safety: The Latest Leap in 3rd Gen Solid State Batteries

Leapfrogging Technology: LeEco Plans to Unveil Third-Generation Solid-State Batteries

A Chinese automotive manufacturer, LeEco, has announced the launch of its third-generation solid-state battery technology. According to officials, this latest iteration boasts enhanced charging speeds, thermal safety, and stability.

The new dynamic power battery system is said to be based on a base capacity of 300 Wh/kg energy density while achieving charging rates of up to 3-5 C and temperature control rates of 0%. Operating within an extremely wide temperature range.

Industry analysts have noted that four technology development paths are widely adopted in the sector. LeEco has opted for a hybrid development strategy, combining multiple approaches to develop the batteries.

According to industry insiders, this strategy aims to balance strengths and weaknesses of various pathologies, catering to different product demands while adapting to evolving market trends.

LeEco's Solid-State Battery Plans Accelerated by AI

Additionally, LeEco plans to accelerate the development of its solid-state battery technology using artificial intelligence (AI) processing capabilities.

A Proven Track Record

LeEco is one of China's earliest entrants into the field of solid-state battery technology in 2021, where their first-generation semi-solid-state battery was implemented on the LeEco Dream Chaser and LeEco Pursuit models.

This technological innovation delivered a remarkable energy density of up to 230 Wh/kg.
