Red Flag Tengjun 05 High-Power Version Unveiled: A Premium Electric Sedan with Enhanced Performance and Advanced Safety Features

The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC) has approved the application for the production of the Red Flag Tengjun 05 high-power version, which boasts a 340 kW electric motor and is positioned as a premium electric sedan.

The newly launched variant features a similar exterior design to its predecessor, with a closed-front face, distinctive red flag logo, and swoosh-style taillights that create a strong visual impact. The front lamps are characterized by their "smoked glass" finish, while the side profile exudes a sense of dynamics thanks to its smooth, rounded contours.

Underneath the surface lies an advanced structure with forged steel components and a host of aerodynamic features, including vortex-like wheel arches and active air dams, aimed at reducing drag.

In terms of specifications, the new model measures 4,820 x 1,915 x 1,480 mm, has a wheelbase of 2,900mm, and rides on 235/50R18 tires. The suspension is set with an adaptive damping system for optimal ride comfort.

Interior-wise, Red Flag Tengjun 05 owners can opt from several premium materials, such as Alcantara leather trim or embossed Nappa leather upholstery, further adding to its luxurious ambiance.

The vehicle is equipped with cutting-edge safety features, including lane departure warning and alert, blind spot monitoring and assistance, driver attention monitor and alert, frontal collision mitigation system, traffic sign recognition, adaptive cruise control 2.0, and pre-safe.

When it comes to performance, the Tengjun 05 boasts an advanced powertrain, featuring a single-phase high-voltage battery developed by Ningde Energy Technology Co., Ltd., electric motor produced exclusively for FAW-Guarantee Group Co. Ltd, with a targeted maximum efficiency of 75% and an estimated range of up to 750 km on a single charge.

Complementing its impressive performance is the presence of advanced equipment such as the Bosch Kinetic Energy Recovery System and Regenerative System, ensuring efficient energy utilization.
