China's Dongfeng Brands the Future of Electric Mobility
Shijiazhuang, China – A report recently unveiled that Dongfeng is gearing up to unveil a new electric vehicle (EV) brand at the upcoming 2025 Shenyang Auto Dealership Conference. Citing sources within Dongfeng's dealership network for confirmation, it appears the new EV will be named "Hedmos".
Interestingly, similar branding was spotted on a previously announced Dongfeng Richo06 model, which debuted with updated logo and 'HEDMOS' brand signage.
A summary of the upcoming Hedmos highlights its sleek closed grille front-end design. The car also features narrow large headlamps that help identify it easily. Furthermore, the exterior is treated to floating-type dual-color body panels, sliding entrance doors, and more discreet door handles. The rear section showcases new running lights embedded throughout with a full branding of the Hedmos logo in English, marking a notable first from the brand.
Dimensions-wise, the vehicle spans 4,670mm long, 1,900mm wide and boasts a low-profile standing height of 1,617mm, with its wheelbase measuring at 2,775mm. The EV reportedly incorporates advanced cutting-edge electric motor produced by ZhenNew Technology Inc., powered up through lithium-iron phosphate batteries made available by Zhouneng, delivering a top speed of 170km/h.
Following these recent developments from Dongfeng, we will continue monitoring the topic in-depth for further insights into the brand's upcoming endeavors.
