Hardcore SUV Review: Unleashing Chaos with Unconventional Design, 3 Locks, and a Rebel Spirit - Does It Cut it in the G700 Challenge?

Geely's Zejiao Zhongxian G700 Unveiled: A Hard-Working SUV for the Great Outdoors

A new vehicle from Geely was recently spotted in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology's latest directory. The Geely Zejiao Zhongxian G700 is a hardy off-road SUV, designed to provide seating for five or six passengers, powered by the CDM-O hybrid engine, equipped with non-support chassis + three locks, spirited inspiration cabin, and the Zhongxian Qihuizi driving seat.

According to previous reports, the new model is expected to hit the market in the third quarter of this year.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of the Zejiao Zhongxian G700 boasts a more angular profile, LED daytime running lights with a rectangular frame and a distinctive Zhongxian emblem positioned alongside a mid-mounted front grille. The vehicle features an aggressive frontal overhang with improved ground clearance to enhance its off-road capabilities. A pair of side panel logos can be seen on the front fender as well as on the rear fender, equipped with four-wheel terrain all-terrain tyres.

The overall dimensions of the SUV are 5198mm long, 2050mm wide and 1956mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2870mm. A convenient mounting point has been incorporated for a spare tyre mounted underneath.

Additional Features

It is reported that this new model features advanced functionality related to terrain driving with its "Off-road Navigation System" but unfortunately that has to wait so it will have original "Dip and Dive Steering" system, an advanced propulsion system based on hybrid power with a 2.0-liter inline-4 turbocharged motor which provides maximum power of 155 kW.

The transmission systems now include Geely's latest-generation 8-speed automatic multi-mode (AMT) to provide the required performance.
