Tengda D9 Earns Top Spot in China Energy MPV Sales for the Sixth Consecutive Month

June 30 - The Tengda brand has announced that its flagship MPV, the 2025款Tengda D9, is now equipped with an Over-The-Air (OTA) upgrade, adding a range of new features and improving existing ones.

The upgraded model comes with several notable additions, including cloud-abrasive pre-cruise, AR-stomp feedback system opening doors and trunks, and a no-mic K-pop feature. These features aim to enhance the driving experience by providing real-time road conditions analysis and adaptive suspension.

The 2025款Tengda D9 is available in thirteen different trim levels, priced between 33.98 and 60.06 million CNY (plug-in hybrid) or 60-76.8CNY纯电). It offers both plug-in hybrid and pure electric options for customers to choose from.

In terms of comfort, the Tengda D9 is paired with a cloud-abrasive-C intelligent damping car body control system that collaborates with the new addition cloud-abrasive pre-cruise feature. This allows drivers to sense road conditions such as front brakes and potholes in mere milliseconds, adjusting suspension accordingly for optimal ride comfort.

Other additions to the vehicle include AR-stomp feedback opening doors or trunks and no-mic K-pop features, providing users with immersive entertainment experiences.

As of May 2023, the Tengda D9 has secured its sixth-consecutive top spot as the new energy MPV best-seller. The vehicle showcases cutting-edge technology such as fifth-generation DM technology paired with pure electric platforms or a 1 liter inline4 engine.

The all-electric variant is equipped with an advanced 39.938 kWh motor unit, capable of achieving a driving distance of over 200 kilometers in its CLTC cycle mode and reaching NEDC standards for sustained energy consumption over 1100km.
