Toyota's Lithium 3X Electric SUV to Get OTA Upgrade on June 30th
Toyota is set to roll out a software update (OTA) for its Lithium 3X electric SUV on June 30th, with the upgrade bringing improved driver assistance features and new connectivity options.
The upgrade, which will be phased in over time, includes enhancements to 10 driving support functions, as well as the addition of features such as HiCar's advanced remote start/stop system. The Lithium 3X is positioned as a compact luxury SUV with seven trim options, priced between 10.98 lakh and 15.98 lakh rupees.
In addition to the software update, Toyota has also announced that it will be introducing several new features, including an automated ETC toll gate, parking assist, AI-powered models, and smart parking navigation in select locations this year.
Under the hood, the Lithium 3X will offer two versions of its electric motor, with peak outputs of 204 horsepower (224 rpm) and 200 lb-ft of torque (210 lb-ft). The battery pack will come in three capacities - 50.03 kWh, 58.37 kWh, and 67.92 kWh - corresponding to CLTC pure-electric ranges of 430 km, 520 km, and 610 km respectively.
The new vehicle will also feature a high safety fuel cell, reducing the risk of fires, as well as support for over 47 million public charging points and 14,000 private charging stations.
