Remote Electric Bus Makes History at 2025 Hong Kong Auto Expo

In a significant milestone, Geely has delivered the first batch of its remote electric buses, dubbed "Geely Remote SV", to the Hong Kong Public Transport Board, marking a major expansion into the city's commercial market. Additionally, GILLY brand showcased its latest electric models, self-developed low-altitude satellite model, intelligent cockpit, and cutting-edge smartphone along with the Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) aircraft, offering a comprehensive solution for smart transportation.

Gilly, an electric mobility brand affiliated with Geely Group, also displayed its flagship models, X, 7X, and 009, at the 2025 Hong Kong Auto Expo. The Gilly 7X will soon be officially launched in Hong Kong, marking a major milestone for the brand in the city.

Gilly's new electric commercial vehicles are scheduled to deliver 1,000 vans in response to "Big Yellow" taxi fleet ordering requests. As of 2025, the Gilly X and Gilly 009 have cumulatively become the fourth-highest selling models from top brands on the Hong Kong market for all energy forms.

Gilly showcased its flagship X and 7X models alongside its latest electric passenger cars at Honda Automobile (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd. The X model starts at 2,699,000HKD with WLTP total range of 420km and acceleration time from standing to 0-100 km/h as fast as 3.8 seconds. Gilly 009 reaches a total range of 582km with a WLTP driving range of 755 000 HKD in Hong Kong as the lowest price, which starts at 30 minutes charging for cars from 80% state of charge, and it has an acceleration time to go from zero to one hundred km/h within four and five seconds.

Low-altitude flight service technology company Woliang has showcased its latest eVTOL "AE200", which serves as the sixth level pure-electric manned transport vehicle designed by the company specifically for strategic urban transportation design at six different levels. eVTOL features a total range of 200km, speed of 248 km/h and can accommodate various arrangements in cabins and offers multi-aspect advantages such as security, economy, comfort, and sustainability.
