Geely's New Luxury Sedan to Debut in June, Sales to Begin by End of August

Key Features and Specifications Revealed for Windy A9L and E05

Geely Auto has announced that it will unveil its new luxury sedan, designated as Windy A9L (E01), in May or June, followed by an official sales launch in late summer. In conjunction with the introduction of Windy A9L, Geely will also release the E05 mid-size sedan in December.

Windy A9

The Windy A9 boasts a daring and aggressive front end design, characterized by its striking headlamps and dual air intakes. The car features a sleek, aerodynamic appearance, complete with integrated laser radar at the top of the windshield. Its dimensions measure 4930/1908/1480mm, with an overall length and wheelbase of approximately 2928mm. The Windy A9 is available in a compact coupe body style, complemented by floral-shaped front air intakes, black-painted accents, and gleaming tail lights.

Interior Features

Inside, the Windy A9 features minimalist design, with the air conditioning vents connecting across the interior. New occupants can be entertained using a floating central infotainment screen, AI emotion intelligence booth, four scene modes, ambient backlighting, trunk cooler, etc

Specifications (Preliminary Information)

Driving aspects have not yet been disclosed publicly, however we know its performance versions will be available as either plug-in electric or hybrid powertrains, but exact specifications remain to be released. A smart driver assistance level has also been announced with advanced features such as lane departure correction on highways. An entrance package includes a superNOA navigation assistant, automated parking and automatic turning.

Windy A9L

Geely has opted for the conventional three-box body design of the latest A9L, characterized by sleekness and composure in its frontal profile featuring traditional headlights, with styling accents at the rear, complete an advanced safety package including semi-autonomous driving features.

The interior includes contrasting side shades to differentiate it from Windy A9. C-pillar windows are made wider, and there is ample space at the back to accommodate two passengers plus a considerable luggage compartment. On top of that there are new 15 spoke wheel finishes with matching metallic colors.

From an electrical front, A9L has a hybrid powertrain available and can be recharged up to 80% with fast charging in only 14.5 minute.
