Leica-Free+ SUV Hits the Road: A Cutting-Edge Ride with Advanced Features
On June 17, the luxury car manufacturer Leica announced that their latest model, Free+, would be going on sale on June 24th. Designed as a mid-size SUV equipped with cutting-edge technology features, Free+ boasts numerous upgrades compared to its predecessor.
The exterior design of Free+ is significantly more tech-savvy than the original. The dashboard features an integrated LED screen component and a grille package that combines advanced ventilation systems for temperature management during driving. With dimensions measuring 4,915 x 1,960 x 1,660mm and an axle length of 2,960mm, Free+ is positioned as a mid-size SUV.
The interior of Free+ boasts a variety of innovative features to enhance the passenger experience. The newly designed dashboard, for example, offers multiple screens that are compatible with both onboard applications and mobile devices. A MagLink extension bay allows users to connect external media consoles such as tablets from multiple brands, enabling independent viewing on the back seat or in other areas of the SUV.
One of its main highlights is an advanced audio system called Voyah Sound, which includes 22 speakers, five-channel surround sound, double-back seats, and support for high-speed waves that amplify driving sensations. The car also has systems intended to optimize comfort, such as air conditioning with 256 color screens around it, ambient lighting that simulates floating on a sea of light and 'TimeMode' LED lights in the display.
This Leica Free+ model not only boasts numerous innovative features but also supports Harmony Space 5-seat system designed by HARMONYOS. It includes advanced personal assistance through cloud-based voice trainers equipped with continuous dialogue capabilities such as learning, understanding, adapting to your behavior so that the experience of the car becomes more intuitive and personalized. Other notable additions include relaxing environments for users on long journeys with four distinct scenes - such as a picnic, washing the car, parking without turning off the engine or an overnight stop - all designed by HarmonyOS.
The 7L capacity cold air system provides 15 cubic meters of air to cool down or warm up quickly and reliably. Temperatures from -30°C to +50°C ensure safety for drivers during various environmental conditions whether driving long distances in winter or engaging in outdoor tasks with no heat loss; this capability makes it essential for using the car even for extended periods.
Moreover, this SUV is equipped with smart make-up mirrors on both driver and passenger seats that utilize a screen-based system while offering an enhanced visual perspective through advanced features including daylight mode for easy detection of makeup during daytime driving. The rear compartment hosts power charging points for 220V charging units as well, catering to various outdoor lifestyle requirements.

Free+ is still equipped with a boost engine powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged unit that makes over 95kW and an electric traction motor generating around 215kW of output together producing significant driving power without compromise in terms of efficiency or comfort at the same time, making it capable of carrying heavy loads for its size.
