Red Flag H5 PHEV Enters Mass Production for Sale in China
Overview
Red Flag, a Chinese automaker, has officially started taking orders for its new H5 Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV). The H5 PHEV will be available in two trims, with prices ranging from 18.58 yuan to 19.98 yuan. Additionally, there's an optional luxury package priced between 15.98 yuan and 17.38 yuan.
Exteriors
The new vehicle will come in three color options:魅夜黑 (Night Sky Black), 高山莹白 (Snowcapped Mountain White)、量子银灰 (Quantum Grey). The exterior design follows the lines of the fuel-powered version, featuring a large front grille with a distinctive LED daytime running light bar. The two-side LED lamp units have been divided into distinct groups, creating a clean and modern look.
The chassis has the same size as the previous model, but measures 498818751500mm and has an axis length of 2920mm. At the tail, customers find the famous Y shape design that is familiar to fans.
Interiors
The interiors of new vehicles provide three interior color schemes which are石墨黑 (Black Earth), 石墨黑+石榴红 (Black + Cherry) and 石墨黑+月白蓝 (Black + Sky Blue). It comes in equipped with 12.3-inch digital instrument panel + 12.6-inch middle section screen, with 253 combinations of ambient light display systems, DENA tuning system, ventilated/cooled seats, as well as a 40W wireless charging system.
Propulsion
The new vehicle will use the 1.5T insert plug-in hybrid power system. The maximum output of this set reaches up to 110kW and torque can reach up to 225N·m. Meanwhile, the electric machine has maximum capacity reaching up to 168kW / maximum torque is up to 340N·m. At the same time, customers also have access to a cell battery with 23.9 kWh of phosphoric acid-iron lithium batteries which make it possible for CLTC model can run up to an extended range of 170km in pure electric mode and up to an extended range of 1600km when charged to maximum capacity.
