Zero Runner Unveils Plans for D-Power Platform Flagship MPV in 2026

Aiming to expand its product lineup, Zero Runner announced plans to unveil a flagship MPV model based on the D-Power platform by the second half of 2026. The upcoming vehicle is part of an all-new D-series SUV lineup that will comprise two variants: an SUV and a multi-purpose vehicle.

While no additional details have been revealed about the D-series MPV, earlier images of its flagship SUV counterpart have sparked interest among fans. With an emphasis on long-wheelbase design and ample space for passengers, particularly in the third row, we can expect this new vehicle to offer superior cargo capacity as well. Powering these vehicles is likely to be an improved hybrid system and a full electric configuration.

Speculations suggest that these vehicles will be positioned as luxurious yet affordably priced with target markets focusing on buyers within 20-30 million yen (approximately $170-$270 USD) in the near future.

Beyond its flagship D-series lineup, Zero Runner is also expanding its B-series offerings. Following the introduction and release of B10, a new plug-in hybrid powertrain will dominate this lineup, including an entry-level B01 MPV with expected launch dates in mid-to-late 2025, for public sale starting July of that year.
