New Generation of Geely Atlas Hatches Leaked; Significantly Different from N8 Model
A series of leaked spy photos of the new generation of Geely's high-end hatchback, which is essentially a new design under the same model name as the current N8, has been shared on Chinese social media. This car will reportedly feature all-new technology and design elements, closely mimicking the aesthetics of the upcoming "N9" model.
The spy shots show that despite its bulky camouflage, the front face retains Geely's latest family-style design language. Expectantly, new cars are expected to have flatter big headlights design compared with current N8, the "C" shape fog light area remains unchanged while the enclosed grille is a trapezoidal shape fitting onto the badge slot before the license plate guard.
In addition, the thick rearview mirrors and laser radar on top of the roof can be seen. The taillights also resemble those of the N9, with long, thin dual-layered slim taillights that feature the brand logo in the center, rather than its old position on the bumper.
The new Atlas hatchback is powered by a 2.0T gasoline plug-in powertrain engine producing 152 horsepower and 680 total combined electric motor output, with up to 202 miles of pure electric range according to CLTC battery life tests, meanwhile NMAC fuel economy test results only consume about 6.3L/100 km of gas.
More information on the car's specifications will be provided as more news emerges from our website, and we look forward to reporting back on this with any updates.
