Luxury Electric SUV Rakata RZ Released in the US Market

The long-awaited Rakata RZ has finally been unveiled in the United States, marking a significant entry for Mercedes-Benz's luxury electric SUV line. With prices starting at $45,000 (approximately ¥32,440), this new model is positioned as a mid-size pure-electric SUV.

Exterior Design

Compared to its predecessors, the Rakata RZ does not feature a dual-color body design but retains the iconic front grille with a distinctive mesh border. The two large front headlights are unmistakably reminiscent of Mercedes-Benz's signature design language. A black trim element at the base mirrors the hidden net on top of these same headlights. Overall, the front end has a decidedly dynamic look.

The rear profile boasts an aggressive air dam and flared fenders that accentuate the car's size. The rear section features a striking wing-element-inspired body piece, accompanied by sleek side skirts that pay homage to classic Mercedes-Benz design.

Interior Design
