Audi Unveils its Latest Audi A5L Model in China

Beijing, June 20 -- Audi has officially launched the Chinese market version of its newest Audi A5L model. The new car comes as a replacement for the Audi A4L and is built on the Premium Platform Combustion (PPC) high-end platform.

The latest A5L has been equipped with the latest e3.1.2 electronic architecture, and will also be the first to come with the brand-exclusive Huawei QuanKun intelligent driving system.

Exterior Design

The exterior design of Audi A5L features a more robust line, with a six-sided grid pattern in the front face and a black lattice-style mesh inside. The headlights are slender with big-size lens, accompanied by a new-designed hood plaque. The interior has an LED driving light that can generate 53 numbers of lights at maximum output during day time drives.

The car body's side profile presents distinctive elements with longer wheel track, shorter suspension, and larger wheels. It is more rugged than the overseas version.

Interior Design

Audi A5L features Audi's traditional style design in its interior. A full-size display screen, designed like a digital mirror, becomes another focus point to create more technological elements. The cabin interior comes with three screens at present: one 11.9 inches liquid crystal screen, one 14.5-inch medium and middle control panel and the latest Audi smart display of 10.9 inches. The center of the control panel is decorated by a lighting strip which displays a welcome/Power/Lyric/Relaxation four modes

Safety Features

In terms of safety features, 12 cameras are installed in Audi A5L's configuration: One front camera placed behind windscreen and others at side windows or rear corners with 6 high-resolution millimeter wave radar sensors. With over 1K high-definition images taken simultaneously every second, this advanced AI-powered system could help improve road security.

Safety devices have more precise function while dealing with accidents on urban roads and highways according to the driver's actions on each wheel of the automobile during the whole journey.
