Mitsubishi i-MiEV: A Compact, Feature-Rich Electric Car
The official release date for the Mitsubishi i-MiEV has been confirmed as April 19th, marking its arrival in the market. With a focus on compact cars, this new iteration of the model boasts ten configuration options and an unbeatable price range, spanning from 5.68 to 8.88 million RMB.
A refreshed take on the classic design is evident, with minimal changes in exterior styling that pay homage to its predecessor. The vehicle's curvaceous lines are characterized by a closed front grille accompanied by LED daytime running lights shaped like an 'X'. These refined details contribute to a more endearing appearance while maintaining clarity of recognition. Furthermore, an exclusive range of 'mushroom purple' (芋泥紫) tones is now available, elevating the overall aesthetic appeal.
The interior design philosophy adheres to a harmonious dual-tone color scheme, paired with enhanced decorative elements such as brushed metal trim sections that further emphasize the ambiance of luxury and comfort. Key upgrades encompass a 25.4-inch dashboard screen running lengthwise across the front seats, alongside an integrated multi-function steering wheel featuring rotational gear change mechanisms, all in the name of enhancing practicality.
Noteworthy additions include new purple-frosted focus colors that lend it a trendy feel by leaps and bounds.
Regarding its measurements, this automotive creation aligns very closely to previous iterations with dimensions amounting as 3950(Length)×1708 (Width)×1580 (Height), accompanied by a total wheelbase of 2560 millimeters, further emphasizing its prominent position amongst similar vehicles such as the Five-star brand's own MINIEV series.
Mitsubishi has announced that power options for the i-MiEV vary based on selected versions ranging between 30 and 50 kW; offering users freedom to opt from one optimal electrical range of either 203 kilometers,333 kilometers or an expansive maximum capacity of 410 kilometers.
