Abita and Huawei Jointly Unveil 1,000-Person Global R&D Center

A new, extensively renovated office building was inaugurated in the Abita C qing headquarters, marking the official opening of a Global R&D Center accommodating over 1,000 employees.
According to previous reports, a team of 300 Huawei professionals joined forces with Abita, focusing on joint research and development efforts for next-generation flagship vehicles.
The new office building started construction in December 2024, primarily designed to host collaborative work among the Abita-Wuhan joint project team. This significant milestone signals that Abita is poised to scale its partnership with Huawei into a more extensive scope.
Abita recently announced its sales data for April, showing an increase of 122.6% compared to previous periods. The latest figures surpass expectations and underscore the company's growing momentum in this ambitious market segment.
Furthermore, at the Shanghai Auto Show, Abita unveiled a new brand concept - "Intelligence in Motion, Embracing Passion" - further solidifying its commitment to innovation. Additionally, recent announcements confirmed that key models like Abita 06, Abita 11 and Abita 12 will feature seamlessly on Huawei's upcoming ADS4 platform.
Abita plans to expand product lines to satisfy a diverse range of user needs. Key offerings in development include mid-size SUVs and larger family vehicles by the end of 2026.
Looking ahead with an ambitious roadmap, Abita aims achieve significant milestones:
- Establish an international presence and retail network exceeding 50 nations by 2025
- Reach a combined annual car sales figure of over 1.5 million units by that year
