Apery U8L SUV Makes Its First Appearance, Set to Launch in 2025

Apery has recently unveiled the details of its upcoming large-sized SUV, the Apery U8L. The new model is expected to be launched in 2025 and will boast a luxurious interior space.

Compared to its high-end variant, the U8, the Apery U8L boasts an increased wheelbase by 200mm, along with refined accessories and a six-seat layout. Notably, the U8L is set to debut a new exclusive color scheme that will be showcased at the next Guangzhou Auto Expo in 2025.

The interior design of the U8L remains true to its predecessor's style. Its front fascia draws inspiration from the “鼎” character, paired with the iconic Apery brand logo featuring the "电" (electric) element from ancient Chinese inscriptions. The exterior trim is made from platinum-quality alloy, adding an air of prestige to the vehicle.

The U8L comes equipped with 23-inch forged aluminum wheels that strike a balance between aesthetics and functionality. Meanwhile, its suspension system has undergone modifications, featuring a floating hub design in the rear. The U-295 tires boast increased stability, delivering improved traction on various road surfaces. Additionally, the wheelbase of 3250mm provides ample space for passengers.

A departure from its predecessor's design, the Apery U8L no longer features a retractable roof or an external spare tire and has undergone structural adjustments to enhance safety. Rear insurance bars are also reduced in size, giving off a more streamlined appearance. This model features a new opening tailgate with independent sliding functions for increased convenience.

Specifications of the Apery U8L include dimensions of 5400/2049/1921mm (length, width, height), making it an administrative luxury SUV within its class. In comparison to the high-end variant's reduced wheelbase, this model features an extended rear overhang of 172mm.

It is adorned with gold ornaments in multiple spots, differentiating itself from the previous Shanghai Auto Show launch of a "Gold Black" vehicle characterized by the application of the darkened color.

The Apery U8L comes pre-equipped with the advanced Titan-Eye AI driver assistance system featuring three-laser light setups. This system integrates various functions such as high-speed tracking navigation, autonomous parking at urban and rural settings, and emergency floating capabilities, to name a few features.

In terms of powertrains, the Apery U8L is expected to feature a new 2.0T turbocharged engine combined with the four-motor unit totaling an output capacity of 880kW. Power transmission utilizes front-to-rear differential bridge systems. In addition, it comes equipped with advanced cloud computing technology that allows for enhanced autonomous safety features such as 'float emergency', 'auto collision- evasion,' and 'automated towing.'

As this marks one of Apery's latest endeavors in luxury vehicle production, the all-new U8L promises to further solidify its company's reputation in delivering premium driving experiences.
