Five-Silk S Concept Vehicle Revealed, A New Electric SUV for Wuling Automobile's Lineup
The latest concept vehicle from Five-Silk S has been unveiled, showcasing the company's new all-electric small SUV. The upcoming model is expected to compete with other electric vehicles in its class, including the Wuling Star Wish and BYD Elf.
Design-wise, the new car boasts a fresh design language, exuding a youthful and modern aesthetic. The front of the vehicle features rounded lines, circular headlights paired with a closed grille, giving it an attractive appearance. The car's side profile showcases a charging port positioned on the left front fender and traditional door handles. The rear section features a longitudinal LED light strip arrangement complemented by a large air dam.
While official information regarding the powertrain has not been disclosed yet, initial rumors suggest that the S model could be based on the existing Five-Silk vehicle lineup with different configurations delivering 41 horsepower and 68 horsepower front-wheel drive electric motors. The car is expected to come equipped with either a 17.3 kWh, 31.9 kWh, or 37.9 kWh lithium-ion battery package, allowing for varying ranges of up to 203 kilometers, 333 kilometers, and 410 kilometers respectively.
No further information has been made available on the upcoming model, but it is clear that Five-Silk S will be a new force in the electric vehicles segment with its latest addition joining several well-established contenders.
